Merol is a soul sister for every liberated millennial, a friend who puts smug men in their place, is always ready for a night out, and sometimes goes just a bit too hard on a Friday night. On her second album, ‘Naar De Haaien & Weer Terug’ (2024), released last year, Merol explores her self-image and her tendency toward self-destruction.
